Retouching Photo Using Photoshop’s Spot Healing Brush Tool Image: better-photography.com The Spot Healing Brush tool quickly removes blemishes and other imperfections in your photos.  The Spot Healing Brush tool is basically a texture replacement tool. It takes damaged or unwanted texture from one area and replaces it with good texture from another area. It then blends the good texture in with the problem area's original tone and color to produce seamless results. Here is how to retouch photo using Spot Healing Brush tool. First, open the original photo in the Layers panel and add a new blank layer by holding Alt key and clicking the New Layer icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.
